Leptospermum Phoenix is commonly used as a backdrop for smaller plants, included in a mixed planting, or trimmed into a hedge.

Leptospermum Phoenix is a colourful and compact, NZ native shrub. It produces exquisite, single, pink flowers with a maroon centre during spring and summer. The foliage comprises small, dark green leaves which have a purple tinge. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 2 m tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This hardy plant will survive dry periods, coastal conditions, and a wide range of soil conditions barring extreme wet or dry.
