Leptospermum scoparium Wiri Susan is a variety of Manuka grown for its amazing flowering. It produces masses of single, white-light pink flowers with a dark centre through spring and summer. These are held amidst the small, dark green foliage which is held densely on rigid branches. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when is it positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, though it will tolerate dry periods, coastal conditions, frost, cool climates, and a wide range of soil conditions, barring extreme wet or dry.
