Leucadendron Jack Harre Details

Leucadendron Jack Harre is a variety of Leucadendron grown for its amazing flowers. It features long stems carrying red, star-like flowers from autumn through spring. It has a tidy, erect growth habit and carries mid-green foliage, typically reaching 1 m tall and the same wide. Best performance with this plant is achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained, semi sheltered site. Plants will tend to be more open when grown in partial shade and flowering may be compromised. It will tolerate dry periods, coastal environments, and cool climates though harsh frost areas should be avoided. Leucadendron Jack Harre is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around the barbecue or pool area, used to complement other plant forms, grown in a container, or planted to provide winter colour.
