Loropetalum Razzle Dazzle is a shrub grown for its spectacularly coloured flowers and foliage. It produces clusters of fragrant, cerise-pink flowers during late winter and spring. The foliage on this bushy evergreen emerges with burgundy red tones and ages to become olive-green. During the cooler months the leaves will often develop bronze overtones. It typically grows with an arching habit to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide, growing best on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is tolerant of dry periods and coastal conditions but does require protection from moderate frost.
