Metrosideros Dalese is an exquisite variety of the commonly known Pohutukawa. It grows as a small shrub carrying small, lime green foliage. Masses of small, red flowers are produced through summer which nestle themselves into the foliage. This NZ Christmas tree typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide, preferring a full sun or partial shade position in full sun for best results. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, cool climates, and frost once established.
