Murraya paniculata, commonly known as Orange Jessamine, is an attractive, medium-sized shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. It grows compactly and bears aromatic, glossy, dark green leaves. Clusters of sweetly scented, small, white flowers appear during summer and are followed by small, red fruits in autumn. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and the same wide and can be contained with trimming as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site, protected from frosts.
