Nandina Pygmaea is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its colourful foliage. The leaves in summer are green with orange highlights then turn red through autumn and winter. The foliage is complemented with small, white flowers in summer which are followed by bright red berries as it grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide. Nandina Pygmaea is a tidy plant that is ideal for rock gardens, mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank, maintaining in a container, adding to a border or mixed planting, or planting around outdoor living areas.

Nandina Pygmaea is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its colourful foliage. The leaves in summer are green with orange highlights then turn red through autumn and winter. The foliage is complemented with small, white flowers in summer which are followed by bright red berries. It typically grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, some wind, short periods of dry, and coastal environments.
