Tanguru
Olearia albida, commonly known as Tanguru, is a NZ native, evergreen shrub. It grows as a multi-stemmed bush bearing large and leathery, olive-green leaves held densely. The tree becomes adorned with clusters of white, daisy like flowers through summer and autumn. It typically grows to 6 m tall and 4 m wide. Olearia albida is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in native revegetation projects which often includes riparian areas, planted as a backdrop for smaller plants, or trimmed into a hedge.
