Olearia cheesmanii, commonly known as the Daisy Bush, is a NZ native shrub that becomes amassed with small, daisy-like flowers in summer. The pretty, white flowers have a prominent yellow centre and are complemented by lush, green foliage. This evergreen typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Olearia cheesmanii is commonly included in a mixed or native planting, planted around the base of larger trees, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, or grown anywhere a tough yet attractive plant is required.

Olearia cheesmanii, commonly known as the Daisy Bush, is a NZ native shrub that becomes amassed with small, daisy-like flowers in summer. The pretty, white flowers have a prominent yellow centre and are complemented by lush, green foliage. This evergreen typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site though it is tolerant of coastal conditions, moderate frost, periods of dry, and a range of soil conditions, barring extreme wet and dry. Olearia cheesmanii is commonly included in a mixed or native planting, planted around the base of larger trees, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, or grown anywhere a tough yet attractive plant is required.
