Olearia phlogopappa, Shrubby Daisy Bush
Olearia phlogopappa, commonly known as the Dusty Daisy Bush or Shrubby Daisy Bush, is a NZ native shrub grown for its prolific flowering in spring. Through this season the mid-green foliage becomes transformed with masses of white, daisy like flowers which literally cover the plant. It grows as a dense shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide. Olearia phlogopappa is commonly included in a mixed planting, revegetation planting, trimmed into a hedge, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
