Olearia White Gem, commonly known as the Dusty Daisy Bush, is a NZ native shrub grown for its prolific flowering in spring. Through this season the mid-green foliage becomes transformed with masses of white, daisy like flowers which literally cover the plant. It grows as a dense shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide. Olearia White Gem is commonly included in a mixed planting, revegetation planting, trimmed into a hedge, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.

Olearia White Gem, commonly known as the Dusty Daisy Bush, is a NZ native shrub grown for its prolific flowering in spring. Through this season the mid-green foliage becomes transformed with masses of white, daisy like flowers which literally cover the plant. It grows as a dense shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions, a range of soil conditions, wind, and periods of dry. Olearia White Gem is commonly included in a mixed planting, revegetation planting, trimmed into a hedge, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
