Ozothamnus diosmifolius, Ozothamnus Royal Flush, Australian Rice Flower
Ozothamnus Royal Flush, commonly known as the Rice Flower, is a shrub grown for its prolific flowering and drought tolerance. Clusters of pink flowers with a paper-like appearance are borne through spring and age to become white. These are produced above the fine, dark green foliage as it grows with a dense and rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide. Ozothamnus Royal Flush is commonly included in a mixed or border planting, added to cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and barbecue areas, or maintained in a container.
