Philadelphus Belle Etoile Details

Philadelphus Belle Etoile is a variety of Mock Orange selected for its stunning and fragrant flowers. In spring, it is adorned with masses of scented, white blooms which have a purple blotch. They are held on arching branches and literally transform the plant. The foliage comprises dark green leaves which contrast well with the flowers and are attractive in their own right. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. This deciduous plant is also tolerant of frosts and cool climates but does require good moisture levels during dry periods. Philadelphus Belle Etoile is commonly used in a mixed planting, as a backdrop for smaller plants, or included anywhere its beauty and fragrance can be enjoyed.
