This foliage ages to become mid-dark green which results in a glossy plant with dual colouring through spring and summer. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. This is a reasonably hardy plant that will tolerate moderate frost, dry periods, some wind, and most soil conditions, barring extreme wet and dry.
