The Phylica plumosa plant, commonly known as the Flannel Bush Plant or the Australian Flannel Flower, is a small and bushy shrub grown for its interesting flowers and foliage. It carries narrow and leathery, dark green leaves which are covered in fine hair. Cream-white flowers with a light, cinnamon scent are borne at the end of each stem during autumn and into winter. These are great for attracting bees. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site.
