Pittosporum tenuifolium Golden Sheen is a NZ native shrub grown for its colourful and dense foliage. It carries small and wavy leaves which are variegated lime and dark green and held on near black stems. It grows with a tight and upright habit to about 3 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types, except extreme wet or dry, moderate shade and frost, wind, and coastal conditions. Pittosporum Golden Sheen is commonly used for shelter, screening, and hedging.
