Pittosporum tenuifolium Marjorie Channon is grown for its attractive, variegated foliage. It features rounded leaves which are light green with a cream-white margin and flushed with pink. These are held on near black stems. This NZ native, evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types except extreme wet and tends to be more open in shadier conditions.
