Pittosporum White Knight Details

Pittosporum White Knight is grown for its lovely foliage and compact nature. Leaves on this NZ native are small, pale green with a silver overtone, and are held densely. It typically grows to 1 m tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary which will stimulate new growth and help keep the plant dense. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of most soil types, except extreme wet or dry, moderate frost, coastal conditions, and periods of dry. It will tolerate shade but tends to be more open and less impressive. Pittosporum White Knight is commonly used in coastal gardens, added to a mixed planting, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
