Protea Burgundy Nipple Details

Protea Burgundy Nipple produces large and showy, rose-pink coloured flower heads with a burgundy-coloured centre through winter and into spring. It grows as a woody shrub to about 2 m tall and the same wide with thick stems and large, glossy, dark green leaves. Best results with this Protea are achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site that is low in phosphate. It is tolerant of extended dry periods, frost, and cool climates though some protection while establishing will benefit performance.
