Protea Little Prince Details

Protea Little Prince is a smaller variety of Protea that produces large and showy flowers that are pink with a white centre, and have red bracts. These are produced year-round above the lush, dark green foliage. It grows compactly to about 1 m tall and wide with a rounded and tidy habit. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of extended dry periods, and light frost only, though some protection while establishing will benefit overall performance. Protea Little Prince is a versatile plant that is often included in mixed plantings, added to coastal gardens, maintained in a container, planted around pool areas, or grown anywhere the beauty of the large flowers can be enjoyed.
