Pseudopanax lessonii, commonly known as the Five Fingers Plant or Houpara, is a NZ native shrub featuring glossy green leaves that are arranged in the shape of a fan. This evergreen typically grows to 5 m tall and 3 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Pseudopanax lessonii is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, or planted around pool and living areas.
