Pseudopanax Moas Toes Details

Pseudopanax Moas Toes is grown for its vibrant and fresh foliage. It has leathery leaves which are green-red and resemble the toes of a Moa. This evergreen typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide, and can be trimmed as necessary which encourages fresh, new growth. Best performance with this shrub is achieved when it is grown on a well-drained site in full sun. In partial shade it tends to grow with an open habit. It is tolerant of wind, coastal environments, dry periods, and moderate frost once established. Pseudopanax lessonii Moas Toes is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around pool and outdoor living areas, or grown as either a trimmed or untrimmed hedge.
