Telstar Pseudopanax

The Telstar Pseudopanax is grown for its unique foliage. This NZ native shrub features leathery and narrow leaves which emerge bronze-green and age to become dark green. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this evergreen is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. In partial shade it tends to grow with an open habit. It is tolerant of wind, coastal environments, moderate drought, and frost once established. The Telstar Pseudopanax is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, trimmed into a hedge, or used for screening and shelter.
