Rhododendron Cotton Candy Details

Rhododendron Cotton Candy is a variety of Rhododendron that features masses of pink and white coloured flowers with a dark, central eye and frilly edges during spring. It is reasonably fast growing with an erect growth habit, bearing dark green leaves that complement the flowers nicely. It typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frosts but should be protected from harsh frosts when young. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants. Rhododendron Cotton Candy is a great choice for adding to a mixed planting, planting as a backdrop for smaller plants, using in cottage gardens, or growing as a specimen.
