Rhododendron Ken Burns features masses of fragrant, cream-coloured blooms in spring. The flowers are complemented with dark green leaves which are held densely. It is reasonably fast growing, and typically reaches 1.5 m tall and the same wide. It performs best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of moderate frost, but should be protected when young. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants.
