Rhododendron Kings Cerise features clusters of cerise pink flowers that literally smother the plant in spring. It is reasonably fast growing with an erect growth habit, bearing dark green leaves that complement the flowers nicely. It typically grows to 2 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frosts but young plants should be protected while they establish. When fertilising, avoid using lime as this will stunt or even kill plants.
