Rosmarinus ‘Mozart’ is an exquisite Rosemary variety. It has petite, dark blue flowers which are borne amidst small, dark green leaves from winter through spring. The flowers, leaves and stems on this plant are very fragrant when crushed. It typically grows to 1.3 m tall and 1 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained site but are tolerant of coastal environments, frost, and dry periods. ‘Mozart’ is a versatile plant that is ideal for hedging, adding to mixed plantings, container growing, or including in the herb garden. It is often used in Mediterranean and cottage gardens and is a great plant for the barbecue area for providing both rich aromas and colours.
