Pink flower buds open to reveal showy clusters of fragrant, white-pale pink flowers during spring. The foliage emerges a fresh green in spring and remains this way until autumn when it develops impressive red tones before falling as it grow to 2.5 m tall and the same wide. Viburnum carlesii is commonly included in mixed plantings, used in coastal gardens, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, included in cottage gardens, or used anywhere the flowering and fragrance can be appreciated.
