"Notcutts Varieity" is a variety of the commonly known, Snowball Bush, and is a deciduous variety of Viburnum features impressive foliage and showy flowers. Fragrant clusters of lacecap, pure white flowers appear during spring and gradually fade to light pink. These result in red berries which last well into winter. The flowers and berries are borne above the lush, soft, green, maple-like foliage which provides for a stunning contrast. The foliage develops impressive red, orange, and purple tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and the same wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this plant is achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is a hardy plant that will tolerate dry periods, coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates.
