It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. “Wine & Roses” is commonly included in mixed plantings, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, trimmed into a hedge, used in cottage gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas.
