Westringia Wynyabbie Gem is a variety of the commonly known, Coastal Rosemary, and is a fast growing, bushy shrub. It has narrow, mid-green leaves held densely off short stems. Through most of the year it produces small and dainty, light purple flowers amidst the foliage. The combination of flowers and foliage is quite impressive. It grows with a rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, most soil conditions, frost, and coastal environments. Westringia Wynyabbie Gem is commonly included in a mixed planting, maintained in a container, included in coastal gardens, trimmed into a low hedge, or mass planted for an amazing display.
