Agave chiapensis is a Mexican Agave featuring rosettes of fleshy, deep green leaves with black spines. This succulent grows to about 70 cm tall and the same wide. It grows best in full sun with a well-drained soil, and is very tolerant of dry conditions. Agave chiapensis is commonly used as an attractive feature in modern gardens, particularly when planted in clusters or used to contrast with other colours and forms.
