Mature plants produce a flowering stalk that may rise 3 m above the plant during summer carrying pale green-yellow flowers. This stalk arches towards the ground before arching up again and resembles fox tail. This succulent typically grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide. Agaves grow best in full sun with a well-drained soil considered essential and a very tolerant of dry conditions. Agave Ray of Light is commonly used as an attractive feature in modern gardens, particularly when planted in clusters or used to contrast with other colours and forms. It is also ideal for mixed plantings, rock gardens, or including in Mediterranean garden themes.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about Agave Ray of Light? We are here to help.

Hi there, I was wondering whether this was a frost hardy agave?

It will take a moderate frost once it gets above 40 cm tall. Remember that it is the dew that freezes so if the plant is in a spot where the dew can't settle it won't sustain frost damage.

Can you advise high and width please. are there any other sizes Freight cost for two to Papamoa please Thank you Ken

Hi Ken, use the contact us section of the website and my procurement team will respond to you.
