Aloe glauca, commonly known as the Blue Aloe, is a succulent that features rosettes of blue-green foliage. The leaves are broad with large, red-brown teeth. Each rosette can produce up to three blooms of pink to pale orange flowers in late winter. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and 1 m wide, growing best in full sun on a well-drained soil. Aloe glauca is well suited to planting in arid environments, growing as a specimen, or including in a mixed planting with other succulents.

Aloe glauca Details

Aloe glauca, commonly known as the Blue Aloe, is a succulent that features rosettes of blue-green foliage. The leaves are broad with large, red-brown teeth. Each rosette can produce up to three blooms of pink to pale orange flowers in late winter. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and 1 m wide, growing best in full sun on a well-drained soil. Aloe glauca is tolerant of frost and arid conditions but does not tolerate wet conditions. It is well suited to planting in arid environments, growing as a specimen, or including in a mixed planting with other succulents.
