Aloe petricola, Stone Aloe, Rock Aloe
Aloe petricola, commonly known as the Stone Aloe, is a hardy succulent grown for its flowers and foliage. The leaves are blue-grey and held distinctly upright. In winter, red stems rise above the foliage to bear a cluster of small, tubular, red flowers. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Aloe petricola is commonly planted in the drier parts of the garden, grown in a container, added to a mixed planting of succulents, or in borders.
