Aloe Quicksilver Details

Aloe Quicksilver is grown for its interesting foliage and low stature. It bears succulent and fleshy, cream-coloured leaves with dark green spots that are held as a rosette. The leaves develop pink tones when grown in full sun and when moisture stressed. Stems emerge during autumn and winter to bear tubular, red flowers. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide, growing best on a well-drained soil in full sun. It tolerates moderate frost once established, coastal environments, and extended dry periods. Aloe Quicksilver is commonly used as an architectural feature, included in coastal and Mediterranean themed gardens, or planted in the drier areas of the garden.
