Aloe Venus is grown for its interesting foliage and impressive flower stems. It bears succulent and fleshy, dark green leaves with small teeth held as a dense clump. Stems emerge during autumn and winter to bear showy, bicoloured flowers that are red and cream as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Aloe Venus is commonly used as an architectural feature, included in coastal and Mediterranean themed gardens, or planted in the drier areas of the garden.

Aloe Venus Details

Aloe Venus is grown for its interesting foliage and impressive flower stems. It bears succulent and fleshy, dark green leaves with small teeth held as a dense clump. Stems emerge during autumn and winter to bear showy, bicoloured flowers that are red and cream. The display is very impressive. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, growing best on a well-drained soil in full sun. It tolerates moderate frost once established, coastal environments, and extended dry periods. Aloe Venus is commonly used as an architectural feature, included in coastal and Mediterranean themed gardens, or planted in the drier areas of the garden.
