Aloe vera Details

Aloe vera is one of the well-known Aloes with extracts widely used in the cosmetic and alternative medicine industries. It features succulent leaves held in a dense rosette. They are grey-green with white flecks, pinkish margins, and small spines. Clusters of tubular, yellow flowers are sometimes borne on a stem which may extend to 90 cm through summer. Ignoring the flower, it typically grows to 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide. It grows best in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, protected from frost. Established plants will survive extended dry periods and light frost only. Aloe vera is commonly maintained in a container, added to succulent and rock garden plantings, included in box gardens, or planted in the drier parts of the garden.
