Echeveria Big Red is a succulent with a great form and impressive colourings. It grows as rosette of broad and dense, triangular leaves. The leaves emerge green but rapidly darken to become fully red with green undertones. Rose-pink flowers are borne off stems that rise above the foliage in autumn, and it typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide. Echeveria Big Red makes a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens, or grown anywhere something hardy and a little unusual is desired.

Echeveria Big Red Details

Echeveria Big Red is a succulent with a great form and impressive colourings. It grows as rosette of broad and dense, triangular leaves. The leaves emerge green but rapidly darken to become fully red with green undertones. Rose-pink flowers are borne off stems that rise above the foliage in autumn. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide, growing best when planted in full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost, coastal conditions, and dry periods. Echeveria Big Red makes a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens, or grown anywhere something hardy and a little unusual is desired.
