Echeveria colorata Details

Echeveria colorata is a popular succulent grown for its wavy and colourful foliage. The thick, powder blue leaves are borne as a rosette and will often take on pink tones during hot weather or when moisture stressed. Orange flowers are often borne off slender stems during summer. This succulent typically grows to 15 cm tall and 30 cm wide, and performs best in a full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal conditions and extended dry periods but should be protected from frost. Echeveria colorata makes for a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens, or grown where something hardy and a little unusual is wanted. The wonderful leaf shape and colour makes this a stand out, particularly in an office environment.
