Sedum dendroideum

Tree Stonecrop

Commonly known as Tree Stonecrop, this is an herbaceous perennial with succulent and colourful foliage. The small leaves are green with red tips and are held as rosettes off fleshy stems. Clusters of tiny, yellow flowers are borne through summer. It can grow to 90 cm tall and 1.2 m wide in the right environment but generally reaches about half this size. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of extended dry periods, light frost, and partial shade. Tree Stonecrop is commonly grown indoors as a potted plant, included in rock gardens, or planted around pool and other outdoor living areas.
