Acacia baileyana, commonly known as the Cootamundra Wattle, is a small tree up to 10 metres tall and 5 m wide. It has fern-like foliage which is silver-grey in colour, and becomes adorned with clusters of bright yellow flowers through late winter and spring. Acacia baileyana is commonly grown as a specimen, used for screening and shelter, or included in coastal plantings.

Acacia baileyana Details

Acacia baileyana, commonly known as the Cootamundra Wattle, is a small tree up to 10 metres tall and 5 m wide. It has fern-like foliage which is silver-grey in colour, and becomes adorned with clusters of bright yellow flowers through late winter and spring. This is a hardy tree that will grow on most soils that has good drainage, and should be positioned in full sun. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, and dry periods. Acacia baileyana is commonly grown as a specimen, used for screening and shelter, or included in coastal plantings.
