Acacia pycnantha, commonly known as the Golden Wattle, features elegant, dark green foliage held off upright stems. The branches become adorned with bright yellow flowers during late winter and spring. It typically grows to 7 m tall and 5 m wide, though can be trimmed as necessary. Acacia pycnantha is commonly grown as a specimen, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, planted for screening and shelter, or included in coastal plantings.
