It grows with a conical habit and carries finely cut leaves which remain green well into autumn. This reasonably fast growing, deciduous tree typically reaches 15 m tall and 8 m wide. Alnus glutinosa Laciniata makes for an attractive landscape specimen year-round and is also commonly used for screening, shelter, and planting alongside waterways.
