This fast growing, deciduous tree features glossy, bright green leaves as it grows with a conical shape to eventually reach 25 m with a spread of 18 m. Alnus subcordata is a versatile and attractive tree that is great for challenging locations where it is often trimmed into a hedge, used for screening, planted for shelter, or simply grown as a specimen.
