Also known as | Oyster Bay Pine |
Commonly known as the Oyster Bay Pine, this is an evergreen conifer that typically grows to 10 m tall and 4 m wide with an upright and somewhat rounded form. It carries erect branches that bear mid green, thick, needle-like foliage. It grows best in a full sun position on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of coastal environments, frost, cool climates, and periods of dry. The Oyster Bay Pine is ideal for growing as a specimen, planting for screening and shelter, adding to coastal gardens, or using anywhere a hardy tree is required. It is sometimes used in avenue plantings.
