Cercis Ace of Hearts, commonly known as the Ace of Hearts Redbud, is a small Eastern Redbud tree grown for its lovely flowers and distinctive foliage. The dark green leaves on this deciduous tree have a prominent heart shape and as winter approaches, they develop yellow tones before falling. In spring, before the foliage emerges the tree is adorned with pink blossom. This Eastern Redbud tree grows with a rounded canopy to about 4.5 m tall and 3.5 m wide. Cercis canadensis Ace of Hearts is commonly used as a graceful, specimen tree, for avenues, for bordering entranceways, or included in mixed plantings.

Cercis Ace of Hearts, commonly known as the Ace of Hearts Redbud, is a small Eastern Redbud tree grown for its lovely flowers and distinctive foliage. The dark green leaves on this deciduous tree have a prominent heart shape and as winter approaches, they develop yellow tones before falling. In spring, before the foliage emerges the tree is adorned with pink blossom. This Eastern Redbud tree grows as either a multi-stemmed or single-trunked tree with a broad and rounded canopy to about 4.5 m tall and 3.5 m wide. Best performance is achieved when planted in full sun on a well-drained, reasonably sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates. Cercis canadensis Ace of Hearts is commonly used as a graceful, specimen tree, for avenues, for bordering entranceways, or included in mixed plantings.
