Cordyline banksii, Forest Cabbage Tree, Ti Ngahere, Banks Cabbage Tree
Cordyline banksii is a small growing, NZ native Cabbage Tree. It produces several stems that will reach up to 3 m high bearing long and arching, green leaves. Masses of small and fragrant, white flowers are borne in late spring and are followed by purple berries which are great for attracting birds. This Cabbage Tree makes a lovely specimen and is commonly planted in clusters in a mixed planting or included in a native garden.
