“Rosea Flore Pleno” is a small, deciduous tree grown for its prolific flowering and lovely form. This thorny tree produces fully double, rose pink flowers en masse through spring. Bright green foliage is borne in spring and develops colourful yellow and red tones in autumn before falling. It grows with an upright and broad form to about 5 m tall and 4 m wide and can easily be contained with trimming. This tree performs best when planted on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site in full sun, noting that it is tolerant of frost and cool climates. “Rosea Flore Pleno” makes for a fantastic specimen and suits avenue planting, or being included in a mixed planting.
