This Cupressus is large conifer that features feathery, green foliage held in broad sprays. This evergreen grows quickly with a pyramidal shape to reach upwards of 20 m tall and 4 m wide. It will stand windy conditions and coastal environments but grows best when planted on a well-drained site in full sun. It is commonly grown as a specimen, added to a mixed planting in large garden, or used for shelter or screening.
